See Yourself as Loveable
You know God loves you, but sometimes you don't feel this assurance. Maybe messages of shame or fear keep you from living the abundant life that you long for. We have to re-train our mind and nervous system to get the message from our head to our heart.

If you have ever wanted to give up trying to prove your worth according to the world's standards, then join this weekly group to uncover your God-given worth. We will meet
online weekly using Zoom. The 1.5 hour meeting will consist of two parts.
​
Part One: Discuss Book Loveable
The first hour of each meeting we will discuss a chapter in the
book Loveable by Kelly Flanagan.
​
Part Two: Re-writing Your Life Story
The last 30 minutes of each meeting will be devoted to life stories. The first five meetings will consist of lessons on our story-shaped brains. As homework, you will follow worksheets to begin re-writing your life story. Starting about week 6, you will give a 5-10 minute summary of your life story. Following your story, each other member of the group will give you compassionate feedback based on specific guidelines.

Each group lasts for 1.5 hours. Each group session is $45

Curt Thompson, a Christian neuro-psychiatrist, has observed that group work offers more powerful healing than any other modality. He states that "a community provide(s) more emboidied energy of love and connection... as a way to wage war against shame."

Are you reluctant? Uncomfortable in groups?
I understand your hestitation because I felt it myself before I joined my first life group. These will be relationships like you have probably never experienced them. There will not be a set of social expectations for you to figure out and fit into. You won't have to hussle for approval here. You get to feel connected without being exhausted taking care of others.
Confidentiality is of upmost importance for the group to be a safe place. What is said in the group stays in the group.

I assure you that I gently but firmly lead the group so that every person feels seen and heard. The content is supportive and encouraging. Feelings and authentic expression are valued, but the dynamic is not depressing or full of drama.
